Parents as Partners

We pride ourselves on high quality partnerships with parents and families.

​

From the moment you arrive at the nursery for a scheduled show around, we give you our undivided and personalised attention to ensure you leave the nursery with no unanswered questions.

​

We invite you to attend some settle sessions with your child to get to know your child’s Key Person and for them to get to know all about your child at home.

​

When your child joins us you will be invited to a range of sociable and informative events throughout the year.

 

(Examples of this are: Parent’s Evenings, Graduation Ceremony, Themed Workshops and Information Evenings, Summer Picnic, Eid, Christmas, Diwali and other festive parties and much much more.)

We regularly communicate through newsletters, web site, email, telephone, text and in person.

At Olive Tree Day Nursery, we use online 'Learning Journal' where we quickly create meaningful and personal observations of all our children's significant learning. Our parents of these children are able to view and comment on these observations and become engaged with their profiles - which also give fantastic evidence of a close relationship between the nursery/school and home.
